WORK FLOW OVERVIEW
PRODUCTION STEPS
STEP 1: SCHEDULING THE INSURED
Scheduling the Appointment
- Receive a request and schedule an appointment.
- File is received and analyzed by our office.
- Introduction of the Manage Repair Program Contractors (MRPC).
- Calculate the needed repairs.
- Ensure the estimate is in accordance with the report
STEP 2: INSPECTION COMPLETED
Inspection Steps:
- Official approval needs to be given in order to proceed with the final estimate. Adjustments may be needed.
- Each estimate is adjusted according to home.
- At this time, the deductible can be collected by inspectors.
STEP 3: ESTIMATE REVISED AND SUBMITTED WITHIN 48 HOURS
Estimate Revision
Revising the estimate might require the MRPC to include additional documentation such as photos, big items, and estimates provided by third parties. The estimate is generated on an industry standard platform that is used by contractors and insurance companies.
STEP 4: COMMENTS ADDRESSED BY INSURANCE WITHIN 24 HOURS
The estimate reviewed by the field adjuster might have the required (pre load conditions) which might need additional proof of documentation.
Once proof of documentation is accepted by the insurance, the field adjuster may proceed with the inquiries that people may have towards the project.
It is our goal to respond within 24 hours to every person.
STEP 5: APPROVAL WITHIN 7- 10 DAYS
We allow for the adjusters to do an internal and escalated review with the insurance company before the estimate is approved. This process may take 7-10 days for approval.
STEP 6: Pre production CHECKLIST BEGINS
Pre production Begins
- The Pre production checklist process starts when approval is given.
- The checklist then passes through quality assurance.
- After the quality assurance is certified, the deductible is paid, the estimate is then approved by the insurance.
Production checklist workflow
Before a file is moved into Production pipeline, the file is required to be processed and audited internally. This ensures that all the necessary steps have been taken to avoid project delays. This includes review of the permit and plans if needed, accounting department review, Branch Manager review, and our compliance review.
Each of these reviews requires some time within our office. To minimize delays, the signed WA, PLM documents and deductible should be returned to our office as early as the site inspection.
FILE IS MOVED TO PRODUCTION
Production Process
Once all parties agree, the file is moved to production. Then a project logistics meeting is held & with that final statement, the project can move forward
